In 2005, my family and I moved to Lakeland as a move with my employer at the time. We landed in what to this day was the best neighborhood we have ever lived, Oakwood in Lakeland. In 2010, we listed our home in the Great Recession with another realtor without success and ultimately decided to become landlords and lease. Having been a landlord for almost 7 years, earlier this spring we decided to list our house. Keep in mind, we were listing it from 400 miles away with TENANTS in our house. The logistics of doing this were not only scary, but frankly, I was not hopeful that the house would sell. After researching the neighborhood site, Facebook friends in Memphis and talking to a few neighbors we continued to hear 1 or 2 names, with Lisa's being the most recurring. My wife and I reached out to Lisa. As you would hope, her follow-up was very timely. More importantly though, Lisa helped us get comfortable with our options of what to do with the house. We knew we had a short window of time to list the house for sale. We had been renting to military families for the past 7 years, so waiting too long and passing up potential tenants with the new round of military orders might mean that we had no buyer and no tenant, which would have been the worst case scenario. Lisa positioned herself as part of our team. She agreed to list our home, but provided us with flexibility by understanding the time crunch we were under to either sell or lease. Lisa's process to list the house took all of about 1-day from start to listing without the expected hiccups of missed calls, baseball practices or other appointments getting in the way. While I know she had all of these things going on in her life, she made us feel like our home was her priority. From start to finish, nowhere in the process was time or communication lost. After a few weeks of light activity, Lisa found our buyers and we received an offer on the home. With willing sellers, willing buyers and an agent who was able to effectively communicate between the two of us, negotiations lasted about a day, then a contract was signed. Lisa and I spoke about 2-3 times per week about the progress of all inspections, etc. Every step along the way Lisa was on top of the entire process. When she said she would follow up, she actually did it. In todays world, that has become too much to expect, or at least I am told that!! Lisa was energetic and perfect with her follow through. All the way through closing, Lisa provided a concierge service for us as home owners. I use the word concierge intentionally because of her ability and approach to shepherding the entire process for both us as sellers and our buyers. She was involved with the bank, the closing attorney, the HOA as well as her broker to lead and guide us all through this process. Lisa even got involved and managed a couple of minor repairs for us through her contacts. In addition, Lisa was able to work with our tenants and make them feel like the number one priority. This was a high ranking military family, who did not have to allow us to list the home and interrupt their lives to show it. It was Lisa's coordination and attitude that made this family feel good about being involved. We have bought and sold several houses and we are in our early 40's. Not one time has the process been as smooth as this one has been, and again we were 400 miles away. In fact, I cannot think of too many things in life that are minor or major that have gone as smooth as the sale of our home. I recently bought a new vehicle, and I'll just say that those dealerships need some LISAS!!! Lisa's support, professionalism, experience, and approach confirm all of those references that we received form neighbors and friends in Lakeland. We could not have asked for better support!!

Lisa was wonderful! She took the time to learn what we were looking for and found the perfect home for us. We were then on a tight schedule to get our current home sold.
